PACKING & SHIPPING TERMS & CONDITIONS

These Packing & Shipping Terms and Conditions apply to all items prepared, packed, and shipped by Wise Living Inc.

1. Quality Control (QC) & Client Sign-Off

​

All items undergo internal quality control inspection prior to packing and dispatch. Clients are required to review and sign the official QC Form confirming approval of the item(s). Once the item(s) have been signed off on the QC Form and have left Wise Living’s facility, Wise Living inc. is no longer liable for any damages, defects, or issues that occur after the item(s) leave our facility. Client approval confirms acceptance of:

  • Dimensions

  • Materials and finishes

  • Color tones and natural variations

  • Craftsmanship

  • Overall condition of the item(s)

Any concerns must be raised prior to signing the QC Form. After sign-off, the items are deemed fully accepted.

​

2. Payment Requirement Prior to Release

​

All items must be paid in full before they can be released for packing or shipping. Outstanding balances will result in delayed shipment. Wise Living inc. reserves the right to withhold release of goods until fully cleared payment has been received.

3. Packing Standards

​

Wise Living will pack all items using industry-standard protective materials suitable for furniture transportation. Our standard packing methods include:

​

  • Protective wrapping

  • Foam or padding

  • Corner Protectors

  • ​

Special packing requests must be made in writing and may incur additional charges.

​

4. Transfer of Risk

​

Risk of loss or damage transfers to the client immediately once the item(s):

​

  • Leave Wise Living’s facility, or

  • They are collected by the shipping carrier, freight forwarder, or third-party transporter.

​

Wise Living Inc. is not responsible for:

​

  • Transit damage

  • Mishandling by carriers

  • Delays in shipping

  • Customs delays or inspections

  • Storage fees charged by third parties

  • Weather-related damage after dispatch

​

5. Shipping & Freight

​

Shipping dates are estimates only and are not guaranteed unless agreed in writing. If the client arranges their own freight or courier, Wise Living’s responsibility ends upon handover to the designated carrier. Any additional costs arising from:

​

  • Incorrect delivery information

  • Missed deliveries

  • Re-delivery attempts

  • Access restrictions

  • Remote location surcharges
    shall be the responsibility of the client.

​

6. Shipping Insurance

​

Wise Living strongly recommends purchasing full transit insurance through the freight carrier. Any transit damage claims must be filed directly with the shipping carrier.

​

7. Inspection Upon Delivery

​

The client must inspect all goods immediately upon delivery. Any visible damage must be:

​

  • Noted on the delivery receipt before signing

  • Reported directly to the freight provider

  • Documented with photographs

​

Failure to properly document damage with the carrier may void any claim.

​

8. Storage & Delayed Collection

​

If items are not collected or ready for dispatch due to client-related delays after QC sign-off, storage fees may apply.

Wise Living reserves the right to charge reasonable storage fees for goods held beyond the agreed dispatch date.

10. Acceptance of Terms

​

By signing the QC Form and/or completing payment, the client acknowledges and agrees to these Packing & Shipping Terms and Conditions.
